Bart Vinken

Bart Vinken is a Dutch contemporary artist with a background in furniture making and interior design. From an early age, he has been passionate about drawing, creativity, and exploring new materials, techniques, and their endless possibilities.

After overcoming addiction and getting sober in 2021, he discovered the art of tufting in 2023. In this unique medium, he found his true passion: an art form that brings together his creativity, technical knowledge, and craftsmanship.

His artworks are inspired by personal experiences and stories about life, exploring themes of breaking boundaries, challenging perspectives, and encouraging people to think beyond the obvious. Through bold imagery, unexpected contrasts, and a distinctive mix of character and humour, he brings these stories to life.

His work refuses to be confined by the boundaries of a material, a technique, or even a frame.
