Kohaku is an original contemporary artwork from The Fractured Menagerie, the debut series by the O&A Collective, the collaborative practice of artists Jonny Fyvie and Zoë Moss.

The series explores the tension between the polished identities we present to the world and the more unpredictable realities beneath them.

Words from the artists: "A koi fish glides silently beneath a tranquil surface, a current of life hidden just out of sight. Kohaku explores the profound disconnect between a frozen exterior and the fluid, chaotic currents of the human mind. The avatar projects absolute, icy detachment, but the shattered geometry reveals the heavy, silent realities swimming just beneath the surface."
